What is your favorite Pokemon RPG game? I would have to say.... probably Pokemon Emerald. I spent a lot of time playing that game.. :)
Your kind of imploding my mind right now...

I'd like to say HeartGold but I haven't finished that yet <_> so, I'll say White. I'm not a fan of the generation 5 Pokemon, though. Most of them look stupid imo. They're really running out of ideas.

Plus, it was the only Gameboy Pokemon game that had more than 8 badges and allowed you to travel between 2 regions, I honestly think it was pretty advanced for its time.

Silver was my favourite as I loved Lugia. Pokemon were still original and you could go back to Kanto. So much to do.

This would make more sense if gravity didn't throw me in a hole ALL THE TIME!!

Platinum and Black are tied for me. Platinum for awesome Pokemon designs and an awesome region plus the awesome Distortion World and Looker, and Black for awesome Pokemon designs and awesome storyline, plus Reshiram. :3

HeartGold and SoulSilver are second, then FireRed and LeafGreen.

I never liked RSE much. Emerald is alright, but the other two, meh. I didn't like many of the Pokemon and Hoenn bored me, though I do like how big it is.

Favorite Pokemon game, huh? Well, I've thought of it before but now since all these other good Pokemon games came out, it's changed my mind a bit. My favorite Pokemon game would probably be either Pokemon Rumble or Pokemon HeartGold. Least favorite would probably be Pokemon Diamond. Just a bit too slow for my taste.

Pokemon Fuh-reaking Emerald.

There is so, so much to do after the credits roll. Getting the Weather and Golem trios, chasing down Lati@s, getting all the secret base items, getting through all the Trick Master levels, Battle Frontier, Abandoned Ship, Shoal Cave, and by god, it never ends!

Compare to White. You beat the Elite Four! Only thing left to do is beat the champion. Catch Kyurem. And that's about it.

There's more in BW than that post-main story. There's the Battle Subway, exploring the OTHER HALF of Unova, catching Kyurem and Landorus, collecting all the TMs, that battle place in Nimbasa City, completing the National Pokedex, of course, and more.

Battle Subway is pure gimmick-less battling, and doesn't allow Triple Battles. I liked the variety of the Battle Pyramid, Battle Dojo, so on.
The other half of Unova? You mean the forest full of Pokemon I caught three years ago, the abandoned beach, and the town that only serves as a mild backstory for Kyurem? That's three places.
Kyurem and Landorus took about an hour total to catch, with standard Poke Balls. Throw one, if it doesn't work, reload and throw it again. 30 minutes max.
Can't collect all the TMs without hacking. But I did it legitimately, until Snarl.
That sports place? Kinda pointless, they're all just the same again and again.
Had 4/5ths of the National Pokedex done three years ago.

I really, really enjoyed White. Before I got to this point I'm at. I have nothing to do now. It's really sad, because I really, really, really enjoy Kyurem.

No, there's at least a few towns that can only be explored after the main story is finished.

And no, I didn't mean the sports areas. I meant the other battle place there. Can't remember what it was called. Let me look it up... Ah yes, the Battle Institute. There's also the Pokemon Musical and the Abyssal Ruins, which I forgot to mention.

Yeah, I just listed them.

To be honest? I've never even heard of the Battle Institute. Pokemon Musical is impossible to not win, and I got the Relic Crown from the ruins. Even so, it only took a week to get everything done.

I am currently playing the pokemon ruby edition for GBA, I guess that'd be my favorite because it is the only pokemon game I've ever played.
