I guess you're right, I just mean a lot of them have blue hair, and I would count Eirika and Ephraim as having blue hair, because I feel it's more blue than green.

Well their hair color in the Artwork is like that, but all their artwork colors have more yellow in them. Ephraim's in game sprite would show he has more green in his hair though.

So now, new question. What's your personal favorite style of play?

I prefer 4-players, items on, any stage that isn't Rumble Falls. Friends and I just play for the hell of it, not really specific on anything. We go in, blow shit up, watch what happens.

Why did I hack my Brawl then? Well, I just hate Lucario. That and I had to do SOMETHING about the random dash tripping. Everything else is the same as normal Brawl, since tier lists don't mean shit when you get a Smart Bomb blown up in your face. XD

Ahhh, good times, good times...

My playstyle is basically tourney rules. We play 1v1 Brawl+ with 4 stock, no items, 8 minute time limit, and only play on fair stages with no possible environmental hazzards.

Since I can't play with anyone, normally in any of the SSB games I make a 4vs4 match with 3 Level 9 Computers and all items be only explosives. Hilarity ensued.

I don't like using items. I keep them on, I just avoid using them.

That being said, Home-Run Bat and Beam Sword. I don't swing them, just throw. Works even better if you can reliably catch it.

The Smash Ball for me! Final Smashes are awesome.

Also, I think Eirika has blue hair while Ephraim's is green.

Oh, and Ike was a pretty popular character in Brawl, so I think he's going to return. I certainly hope he does. I AM an Ike fangirl, after all. x3

They don't base it on American fanbase... It'll depend on the fanbase for Krom whenever FE13 comes out.

I never said I was talking about the American fanbase only. I was generalizing. Also, why wouldn't Ike's fanbase matter too? If Krom turns out to be just as popular as he is, there's no reason both of them can't be in.

Ok. Look. why was Lucario added to Brawl? Because of the fanbase and he represented Generation IV. Marth represents ALL FE for being the first Lord. Pikachu is still in due to being with Ash in the anime is the most known Pokemon. Same for similar characters. So either they add Krom and remove Ike, or they might as well re-add Roy too.

No. Roy was added for completely different reasons than Ike. Roy was added to Melee to promote his game, as it wasn't released yet. It wasn't very successful either, if I remember right. As a result, Roy isn't very popular, which was why Ike replaced him. Ike has a much bigger fanbase and was used way more in Brawl. Plus, both of his games were already out when Brawl was released. It would make more sense to keep Ike and leave Roy out.

If anything, I also think there's a chance Sakurai won't add or cut any FE characters at all. Marth will represent old school FE while Ike represents the newer games.

Also, Ike is first in a lot of things as well. He's the first FE lord to appear in a 3D game. He's the first FE lord not to be of noble or royal birth. He's also the only FE lord other than Marth that has had a main role in more than one game.

So basically, Ike has a lot more reason to stay in Smash Bros. than Roy does.

Excuse me. Marth and Roy being added into Melee was used to promote FIRE EMBLEM AS A WHOLE. So WITHOUT MARTH AND ROY, your precious IKE wouldn't be in the STATES. ;)

No, Marth was used to represent Fire Emblem as a whole and Roy was only added to promote his game. Then Ike replaced him to represent new FE since he is the only other lord that has a main role in more than one game and he's original. That's it.

So without MARTH, Ike wouldn't be in the US. Not both Marth AND Roy.

Also, please don't make fun of my liking Ike. Would you want to see me saying "your precious Joshua" to you?

Oh, and going back to originality, Roy was basically a carbon copy of Marth in Melee. The only difference was that fire was added to his attacks. Ike, on the other hand, is slower than Marth, more powerful than Marth, HEAVIER than Marth, and has a lot of completely different moves. The only move they share, basically, is Counter. And even then, Ike's Counter isn't EXACTLY the same.

So, there's yet another reason why Ike has a lot more reason to stay.

You're fighting a losing argument here, Amy. I know a lot more about Ike than you do.

Simple solution. Keep Marth, Roy, and Ike, and add others.
That's how Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 did it. Only, they had 160 characters instead of 39. Instead of removing characters, just add more.

Now that that is said, I far prefer Roy. Was he a clone of Marth? Yes. Was he rushed to be in the game, like Dr. Mario, Ganondorf, Falco, Young Link, and Pichu? Yes. However. He had a heroic feel to him. Which I liked a fair bit.

What if they want to add Krom though?

I'd say the simplest solution would then be Marth, Ike, and Krom.

If Mewtwo is any indication, I don't think Ike is likely to return. Mewtwo is still the most popular legendary Pokemon, it's safe to say. Yet instead, we got Lucario. Why? Because Lucario represented the then-current generation of Pokemon.
Ike is popular, yes, but many others in Fire Emblem rival that popularity. Marth, Eliwood, Roy, Lyn, Hector, to name a few.
That being said. If Nintendo actually tried for this Smash, there would be an additional character or two for each series and many new franchises represented. Marth has to be in. This "Krom" would be as well. So Ike, or Roy, would also be in.

Who am I kidding. It'll be just Marth and Krom.

Ike is a good representative for new FE though because he had a main role in two of the more recent FEs. None of the other lords had that privilege, so this has to say something.

Also, Mewtwo, I heard, was originally going to be in Brawl, but was cut. I actually think he has a chance of returning as well because of his popularity. Then, Zoroark would also be added to represent the newest generation.

I personally think it'll either be just Marth and Ike again or Marth, Ike, and Krom.
