Apparently they're going to have something similar to PSN. This seems to imply we will be using real accounts instead of friend codes now. I sure hope so.
Thoughts on this? I think it's a huge step in the right direction for Nintendo's online.

Yeah, definitely sounds like Nintendo is stepping up with their online with this idea. I didn't mind Friend Codes though.

There's also speak that Mario Kart 7 has been using this for a while now...not to mention it being the first Nintendo game to receive DLC. How well it'll be implemented has yet to be seen. Perhaps E3 will have further explanation of this Nintendo Network.

Huh? Another source I saw awhile back said Fire Emblem 3DS was going to be the first Nintendo game to feature DLC. o_O

Maybe it means FE 3DS was the first ANNOUNCED to have DLC, not the first to receive it. Not quite sure...
