Not too long ago, last week to be precise, I wrote an article discussing why Nintendo should make the upcoming Legend of Zelda title be like The Wind Waker. The article received mixed feelings from many, some who agreed and some who was vehemently opposed to the idea. The most obvious objection was that of [...]

With E3 less than a week away Zelda fans are wetting themselves in anticipation over Nintendo’s press conference. At E3 with year Nintendo has promised to give us the first shred of real information about the game since they released a piece of art at least year’s E3. With rumors running amuck every fan has [...]

Our knight on shining armor is always pictured riding a horse, but for over a decade and a half our Hero of Time was horseless and stuck to the ground battle.  Of course on the original NES there was not many opportunities for including horseback game play. The very fact that the Legend of Zelda [...]

Nintendo has shown very little about the upcoming Legend of Zelda game for the Nintendo Wii, due to be released in 2010, but from what we have seen so far, it seems like this may just be Twilight Princess Part 2. The limited art work suggests a lot of the same and Nintendo’s recent strategy [...]

Let’s face it, besides the Adventure of Link, the only thing changing in the Zelda series is what graphical style they choose to use in each game and perhaps instead of a regular boomerang, you discover a wing boomerang…compelling stuff. The series is in the mid 20′s and not much has change in its formula. [...]

With news of Nintendo’s upcoming 3-d handheld gaming system, the Nintendo 3DS, chatter has already began on how this technology could be utilized in the Legend of Zelda universe. While stating all of this however, I will not deny the success the series has had thus far, nor will the fan be belittled. With all disclaimers out of the way, here is why the Zelda franchise just can not be respected.

So with the success of Mario in this arena, and the lack of concern from the average Zelda fan boy, perhaps Nintendo should push the limit with the LoZ series and send Link on a celestial adventure into outer space. I mean, we have trains in Spirit Tracks, phones in Link’s Awakening, magical masks and every other farfetched thing imaginable, the real question is, why has not Nintendo already done this?

Several classic Legend of Bosses have made the transition from 2D to 3D. However, there are still many bosses in the series that have failed to reach this milestone. With Zelda Wii coming out sometime this year, there has never been a better opportunity for this to take place. This article will go over the [...]

The Legend of Zelda has always been known for its large variety of enemies. Since the original Legend of Zelda was released on the Nintendo Entertainment System, several of the more popular monsters have remained virtually unchanged. For example the Keeses and Like-Likes. Then there are enemies like the Darknuts who have evolved to become [...]
