This infamous cheat from the original Link’s Awakening allows Link to warp across screens.
So how can this be useful? Well, this cheat allows Link to get the Level 2 Power Bracelet before entering even the 2nd dungeon. It can also be used to screen warp past the Walrus and keep Marin with you at all times.

However, this glitch does not come without risks. I suggest saving your game before trying to do any screen warping as it can have negative effects. Characters and icons in the screen will often get moved around and distorted. If you do this glitch inside of a dungeon then you can often end up inside of other dungeons and be trapped. For instance, it is common to end up warped inside of Eagle’s Tower Dungeon. This dungeon’s entrance is normally sealed so if you end up inside of this dungeon then DO NOT save the game unless you want to restart the game. You will end up trapped on the dungeon entrance with no possible way of getting off.
