2Chan, once again has provided the internet with some information which may or may not be true. None of the following information has been confirmed but we would like to note that 2chan has a fairly accurate track record of providing game information before it has been confirmed.

Anyways, here is some of the information that is circulating at the moment. First of all, for all your theorists out there, the Master Sword may not be in this game and the girl in the promotional art is not in any way the Master Sword as many were predicting. In fact, this girl will not be a tag-along character like Navi or Midna. Her name is also rumored to be Adelle, Adella, or Aderu.

On another note, gamers will get to choose whether or not Link is right or left handed at the beginning of the game unlike in Twilight Princess when Nintendo had 2 versions.

2Chan also has it stated that Nintendo has completed most of the game mechanics and is just polishing up and finalizing minor details such as the characters and story.

As for some gameplay information, the sword in the game will apparently feature unlockable combat moves. Epona will also be in this game but will be easier to control. She is supposedly smarter and will automatically avoid obstacles in your path.

Finally, this is where the information gets really sketchy, but this may in fact be the same Link from the Hero of Time and time travel may play a part in this game again. And it may not take place in Hyrule which would suggest it carries on from Majora’s Mask.
