X Play interviewed Kit Ellis of Nintendo of America about New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Spirit Tracks. Now since this is a Zelda site, I’m going to skip the Mario part and get straight to the Zelda goodness, but you can still find out about it in the video by following the link at the bottom of this post.

For you theorizers out there (wait, am I the only one here? >_>), Kit restated what another Nintendo of America employee stated in the past. He reaffirmed that Spirit Tracks takes place 100 years after Phantom Hourglass in the timeline.

For those of you that don’t care about that, don’t worry, because he revealed more about Spirit Tracks which may just put some of your fears to rest. Not only will the game focus on exploration, and thus the train wont just take you from point A to point B, but you will eventually be able to lay your own tracks!
