Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask

Players must solve tricky brainteasers and puzzles to find clues about the mysterious villain who wields the Miracle Mask. Rendered in 3D for the first time, the colourful world of Professor Layton and his friends is fresh and vivid, and the game makes great use of the console’s engine and its 3D effects. Fans of the series are sure to love the game, but newcomers who have never played a Professor Layton game before can easily jump into the world and enjoy the adventure.
Legend Of Zelda
Recently released as a downloadable title from Nintendo’s eShop, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D has had a complete makeover for the 3DS system. Widely considered to be the best Zelda game of the series, the game lets user’s control the hero Link in an open-world quest to stop the evil Ganondorf from obtaining the powerful Triforce. New changes for the 3DS system include integrating the stylus touchscreen into the gameplay and using the console’s gyroscope to fluently aim and look around. Of course, brand new 3D effects have also been added for the 3DS engine, and the world of Hyrule and all its inhabitants has never looked better.
A sequel to last years surprise breakthrough hit, Skylanders Giants is a platformer with a difference. Physical toys can be bought and placed on a portal device that comes with the game and, when the 3DS links up, the toy character can be played in the game. Eager fans can buy several of the physical toys, each offering characters with different powers and abilities, and switch between them as they play the game. Players can also use toys from the previous game, Spyro’s Adventure, and in-game characters can be carried over to other games consoles, like the 360 or PS3 versions of the game, while retaining their skills and progress. Mixing combat with 3D platforming, Skylanders Giants is an exciting adventure game for the 3DS and the extra toys provide a completely unique gaming experience.
