Anyways, this video takes Link further into the Fire Sanctuary. By using the Mogma Mitts Link is able to dig underground and continue looking for the Sacred Flame.

Nintendo is doing a lot to make up for their mistakes lately. This time around they are sending out a brand new replacement poster because there was a minor mistake in their Club Nintendo Skyward Sword poster. If you have not noticed, there was a slight error near one the Loft wings. Some people noticed this and complained, promoting Nintendo to issue an apology and a correct version of the poster during the first week of February.

Skyward Sword has been out for almost 2 months now and the game is readily available at most major retailers. However what is not widely available is the Skyward Sword Demo Disk. If you have the game then obviously the demo is worthless. However, a hardcore Zelda collector may find this to be a must have.

The demo disk can be found on eBay now and though we cannot offer a walkthrough for the demo, we do have a growing Skyward Sword Walkthrough that you may find helpful.

The latest edition to our Skyward Sword Walkthrough is this video showcasing how to clear Din’s Trial in the Eldin Province Silent Realm. This video will show you how to collect all the Tears of Light and earn another Sacred gift in Skyward Sword.

It seems that Nintendo may have finally hit a patch of good luck. After a severely disappointing fiscal year in 2011 there is finally some good sales numbers for the Big N. The 3DS handheld system has sold more than 4 million units which has been fueled largely in part from Super Mario Land 3D and Mario Kart 7, both of which have hit 1 million units sold in the United States.

Of course, the figure that we care about the most is the sales numbers for Skyward Sword. As previously reported, Skyward Sword was the fastest selling Zelda game of all time and to sweeten the deal the game has sold more than 1 million copies now.

If you were a fan of Skyward Sword’s Art style and would like to see more of it in future games than you are out of luck. Unlike The Wind Waker which saw several renditions of its toon-like graphics, Skyward Sword is a one hit wonder.

In a recent interview with Zelda developer, Aonuma, he discussed the reasoning behind this decision. “With Wind Waker, the graphics were suited to handheld gaming. Also the game ended with Link embarking on a journey, so it left open the possibility of what comes after the game. With Skyward Sword, positioning it as the first Zelda game means everything else connects to it and comes after it. It becomes a little bit difficult to do something else within that world and certainly much more difficult to do something that comes before it.”

Making this even more shocking is the fact that less developed and less hyped entries to the series such as Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks greatly outsold Link’s latest outing. After an initial surge in Japan, Skyward Sword failed to reach the top 20 chart just 2 weeks into its release, despite being in the middle of the holiday shopping season.

To highlight this stunning sales slump we can look at Spirit Tracks which sold 500,000 copies in 5 weeks and Phantom Hourglass which sold 631,100 copies in the same amount of time. Maybe Japanese gamers just prefer the handheld entries to the Zelda series?

Now before you get all angry, the writer admits that he is saying some of these things knowing it will cause a bad reaction. The point of the article is to see how certain elements of Skyward Sword may seem stupid to other gaming fans.

However the great news for Nintendo is not yet over as Skyward Sword has now become the fastest selling Legend of Zelda game ever. Since the game has been released, it has sold more than 535,000 copies in the United States alone.

Skyward Sword’s strong sales numbers have been boosted by a large amount of Nintendo Wii sales on this year’s Black Friday. About 500,000 Wii’s were sold and many picked up Zelda Skyward Sword which is being considered the console’s Swan Song.
