Skyward Sword Goddess Cube Chest Locations

Goddess Cubes are a new addition to the Legend of Zelda series. In Skyward Sword Goddess Cubes are objects that Link can activate which causes a treasure chest to appear in Skyloft. Gorko tells Link that these Goddess Cubes are linked with Skyloft and that he can activate them by charging a Skyward Strike at the cube.

Faron Woods Goddess Cubes

Goddess Cube Location: The first cube you will come across is pointed out to you by Gorko. It is in the Deep Woods on the way to Skyview Temple.
Treasure Chest: This chest will appear on the side of the pumpkin building at the Pumpkin Landing.
Reward: Adventure Pouch Expansion

Goddess Cube Location: Right outside the Skyview Temple entrance
Treasure Chest: On a tiny island south of Skyloft
Reward: Heart Piece

Goddess Cube Location: By the Great Tree in the  Faron Woods is a section where land is raised by a series of roots to the east, south, and west. To get to this Goddess Cube you need to go inside the tree and exit on the first outside landing. Here there will be 3 wooden platforms. Jump off the 2nd and fall to the right and you will land on one of those raised pieces of land. A Goddess Cube is there.
Reward: Rupee Medal

Goddess Cube Location: Another Goddess Cube can be found on one of these raised pieces of land. This one can be found by going to the east side of the tree. If you look up you will see the cube sitting on an elevated platform. To get to the platform you will need to use your Clawshots to hit the nearby target.

Reward: Heart Piece

Goddess Cube Location: To get to this Goddess Cube you will need to enter the Great Tree again. Head up and exit through the second path to end up outside. Walk towards the north and you will find yourself at a wooden outcrop. Jump to the east and you will find yourself on an area with 2 small pieces of land connected by a rope. Tightrope your way to the other side where the Goddess Cube awaits you.

Reward: Rupee Medal

Goddess Cube Location: Head to the right of the Skyview Temple entrance and you will see a large patch of vines. Clawshot onto them and climb up to find a hidden Goddess Cube.

Reward: Treasure Medal

Skyview Temple Goddess Cubes

Goddess Cube Location: This cube is located behind the Skyview Spring.
Treasure Chest: The treasure chest will appear above a doorway at the Pumpkin Landing.
Reward: Golden Rupee

Lake Floria Goddess Cubes

Goddess Cube Location: As you are heading through the water caves to find the Water Dragon, you will enter an area by spin jumping over a gate. You can get to the Goddess Cube in this room by climbing out of the water and following the path up across a bridge.

Reward: Small Bomb Bag

Goddess Cube Location: Look straight up from the bird statue at the Floria Waterfall. You should notice a patch of vines that you can grapple onto. Climb up to find a Goddess Cube.

Reward: Golden Rupee

 Eldin Volcano Goddess Cubes

Near the first Eldin Province Bird Statue (the one you first arrive at) is a ledge that you can drop down onto. There is a Goddess Cube there.

Reward: Silver Rupee

Goddess Cube Location:  Head east from the first Bird Statue and you will find a Goddess Cube near the southern middle part of the Volcano. It is near the cone structure that you jump down.

Chest Location: On an island west of Fun Fun Island and southwest of Skyloft.

Reward: Small Seed Satchel

Goddess Cube Location: Jump down the cone structure in the middle. As you are falling, aim to land on one of the ledges. One will have a Goddess Cube on it.

Chest Location: Isle of Songs in the Thunderhead

Reward: Golden Rupee

Goddess Cube Location: Head west from the Earth Temple. You will find a dig spot. When dug it will create a burst of air. Take it up, and blow the cracked rocks up to expose a Goddess Cube.

Chest Location: An island southeast of Beedle’s Island.

Reward: Treasure Medal

Goddess Cube Location: Take the sandy slide down the Eldin Volcano. Aim  yourself to the left to land on a platform with a digspot. Jump to another platform that is below it to find a Goddess Cube.

Chest Location: Center of Skyloft – Must be able to swim to reach it

Reward: Heart Piece

Volcano Summit Goddess Cubes

Inside the cave that leads to the Fire Sanctuary is another path that leads to an outside area with a waterfall. Jump off the cliff and control your dive to reach a small outcrop that is around other outcrops. Must be good with your aiming to reach this.

Chest Location: Bug Island on Thunderhead

Reward: Heart Piece

Goddess Cube Location: Go to the left of the Fire Sanctuary entrance. Climb up through the window and then use your clawshot to reach a higher up area. Defeat the Lizafols and then clawshot to the next vine-covered area. You should find yourself near the entrance to this room and next to a Goddess Cube.

Chest Location: Roof of Isle of Storms in Thunderhead

Reward: Small Bomb Bag

Goddess Cube Location: Inside the cave that heads to the Fire Sanctuary is a pit of lava that blocks the Fire Dragon’s domain. Use the floating platform that is there after the lava eruption to float past a cube and activate it.

Chest Location: Small western island in the Thunderhead

Reward: Empty Bottle

Lanayru Desert Goddess Cubes

Once landing in the Lanayru Mines you can turn to the south and see a Goddess Cube on the platform behind you.

Chest Location: Behind a bombable wall in Skyloft

Reward: Silver Rupee

Goddess Cube Location:Head to the southwest of the Lanayru Desert to find the area where the Ampilus can be used to cross the quicksand. Drop bombs on them and use the shells to work your way to the Goddess Cube to the south.

Chest Location: To the south of Skyloft is a hollow Volcano like island. You can land on the surface to find the chest.

Reward: Heart Medal

Goddess Cube Location: Outside of the Temple of Time is a mine-cart. There is a robot blocking the path so you will need to hit the nearby Timeshift Stone to activate the robot and ride the mine-cart. As it is going along the tracks, it will pass a Goddess Cube. So make sure you have your Skyward Strike ready to quickly smack the cube.

Chest Location: Beedle’s Island

Reward: Heart Piece

Goddess Cube Location: To the northeast of the Desert is a wall that can be bombed. Do so and use your clawshots to head down a path. At the end is a Goddess Cube.

Chest Location: On an island between Beedle’s Island and Bamboo Island

Reward: Heart Medal

Goddess Cube Location: To the south of the Lanayru Desert’s main section is a broken part of the wall with a Goddess Cube on it. Use your clawshot to target the wall and reach the Goddess Cube.

Chest Location: On an island to the Northwest of Fun-Fun Island

Reward: Life Medal

Goddess Cube Location: To the north of the Sand Sea’s dock is a collection of cargo containers. Use the Clawshot to target onto a spot to the north and when you drop down you will find a room filled with Arachas (tiny scorpion enemies). In the corner is a Goddess Cube.

Chest Location: Chest in the Skyloft Bazaar

Reward: Gold Rupee

Goddess Cube Location: As you are climbing the platforms in the Skipper’s Retreat you will fin a Metal Shield Moblin. Past him is a platform that you can stand on to target vines with your clawshots. Do so and you will be pulled to an area with a Goddess Cube.

Chest Location: Island to the far west of Skyloft

Reward: Potion Medal

Goddess Cube Location:  While at the Pirate Hideout, use the Timeshift Sphere to open the mouth of the island. You will be able to look up and target onto a spot with your clawshots. When up there target another selection to reach a Goddess Cube.

Chest Location: On eastern part of Skyloft. Requires clawhots to reach
